Manchester United have officially parted ways with Dutch manager Erik ten Hag after three years at the club.
The Red Devils have had their worst start to a Premier League campaign with just 11 points from a possible 27, sitting in 14th position on the table and 12 points off league leaders Manchester City.
Despite United’s leadership backing Ten Hag with more than ÂŁ600 million since his arrival, bringing in superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Andre Onana and Matthjis De Ligt, it always seemed like the 54 year-olds days were numbered since INEOS bought into the club.
Assistant manager and legendary striker Ruud van Nistlerooy will take the reigns in the dugout for the foreseeable future.
