With Arsenal on the verge of tabling a third offer for the West Ham captain, The Hammers have rejected a formal £90m-bid from Manchester City for the services of Declan Rice.
West Ham have stuck to their £100m asking price for the in-demand midfielder, rejecting City’s formal offer after declining Arsenal’s second bid, an initial £75m in four payments plus £15m in add-ons, last week.

Arsenal’s impending third proposal will not be a direct response to the bid made by the Treble-winners, but will specifically focus on the club’s efforts to secure Rice, who stands as Mikel Arteta’s top target.
