Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 34 goals (Lille, Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Barcelona, Marseille)
The Gabon striker holds the outright record for the Europa League era, with goals scored across spells at Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Barcelona and Marseille, having made his competition debut years earlier on loan at Lille.
He broke Radamel Falcao’s long-standing record in 2023/24 while at Marseille, where he also finished as that season’s top scorer with 10 goals.
Radamel Falcao – 30 goals (Porto, Atlético Madrid)
Falcao held the record for over a decade before Aubameyang overtook him. He remains the only player to have finished as the competition’s outright top scorer in consecutive seasons, doing so first at Porto in 2010/11, with 17 goals still a single-season record, and again at Atlético Madrid in 2011/12 with 12.

Bruno Fernandes – 27 goals (Sporting CP, Manchester United)
Fernandes has shared the competition’s top scorer award twice, first in 2019/20 in an unusual split credited to both Sporting CP and Manchester United following a January move between the clubs, and again in 2024/25 alongside Kasper Høgh and Ayoub El Kaabi.
Romelu Lukaku – 27 goals (Anderlecht, Everton, Inter, Roma)
The Belgian forward has found the net for four different clubs in the competition, with his best return coming during a single prolific season at Everton, where he was joint top scorer in 2014/15.
Aritz Aduriz – 26 goals (Valencia, Athletic Bilbao)
Almost all of Aduriz’s tally came during his time at Athletic Bilbao, where he won the season top scorer award twice, in 2015/16 and 2017/18.
Alexandre Lacazette – 26 goals (Lyon, Arsenal)
Lacazette’s goals are split almost evenly between Lyon and Arsenal, making him one of the few players on this list to have scored heavily for two different clubs in the competition.
Munas Dabbur – 24 goals (Maccabi Tel Aviv, Salzburg, Sevilla, Hoffenheim)
Dabbur built the bulk of his tally during a prolific spell at Salzburg, before adding further goals in shorter stints at Sevilla and Hoffenheim.

Edin Džeko – 24 goals (Wolfsburg, Manchester City, Roma, Fenerbahçe)
Džeko’s best Europa League form came at Roma, where he shared the season top scorer award in 2016/17, adding to goals scored earlier in his career at Wolfsburg and Manchester City.
Kevin Gameiro – 22 goals (Sevilla, Atlético Madrid, Valencia)
Gameiro’s most productive spell by far came at Sevilla, where the bulk of his tally was built, with further goals added during a later stop at Atlético Madrid and Valencia.
Óscar Cardozo – 20 goals (Benfica, Olympiacos)
The Paraguayan forward was the Europa League’s very first joint top scorer, in its inaugural 2009/10 season with Benfica, before adding further goals in a later spell at Olympiacos.
Carlos Bacca – 19 goals (Club Brugge, Sevilla, Villarreal)
Bacca’s best scoring form came during his time at Sevilla, with further goals added at both Club Brugge and Villarreal either side of that spell.

Giroud has scored for four different clubs across a long European career, capped by winning the competition’s outright top scorer award in 2018/19 with 11 goals for Chelsea, the season they went on to win the trophy.
