Kaizer Chiefs have officially announced their third new signing ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Glamour Boys confirmed the arrival of 27-year-old Tanzanian defensive midfielder Adolf Mtasingwa Bitegeko.
Bitegeko joins Chiefs from Tanzanian powerhouse Azam FC. He spent the last two years at the club, and was given the captain’s armband last season.
Before Azam, Bitegeko spent six years in Europe. He featured in various Icelandic, Norwegian and Finnish leagues during his spell abroad.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Glamour Boys confirmed their new signing. “Kaizer Chiefs have secured the services of Adolf Mtasingwa Bitegeko from Tanzanian giants, Azam FC for an undisclosed fee,” a club statement read.
Chiefs have already unveiled new defensive signing Thabo Moloisane as well as new goalkeeper Renaldo Learner.
The Amakhosi are expected to announce a few more new signings before the transfer window closes in September.
