Kaizer Chiefs have officially completed the signing of Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana as a free agent.
The former Sekhukhune United wide man arrives at Naturena to bolster Amakhosi’s attacking options following his departure from Tunisian giants Esperance and a subsequent loan stint in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Hazem.
Chiefs have been long-time admirers of the 27-year-old, having closely monitored his progress before his move to Tunisia.
Chiefs finally land Mokwana
The Mpumalanga-born winger established himself as one of the most explosive wide players in the PSL during his stint with Babina Noko between 2022 and 2024.
In total, Mokwana has 68 appearances to his name locally, and has scored eight goals while assisting seven more.
Kaizer Chiefs confirmed his signing on Wednesday afternoon via an official statement, “Kaizer Chiefs have signed Bafana Bafana international Elias Mokwana. The talented winger joins the Club after gaining valuable experience in North Africa and the Middle East.”
