Dylan Johnson

Dylan Johnson is a South African sports journalist, writer and editor working across football, rugby and cricket for both domestic and international audiences. He is the group editor for Soccermag, SA Cricket Mag and Africa Picks - where his work spans breaking news, match reports, previews, features and in-depth analysis, as well as co-hosting The Soccer Show on Soccermag. Dylan is also a regular contributor to SA Rugby Mag. A graduate of the University of Cape Town, Dylan holds a BA in Humanities, majoring in Economics and Organizational Psychology. Sport has been part of his life for as long as he can remember, having played all the way through school before turning that passion into a career telling its stories. A lifelong Liverpool fan, European football has been a constant in Dylan's life, and that runs through everything he writes. He's happiest digging into the past, the games and characters that built the sport into what it is today, while staying just as locked in on the game as it unfolds now.
