Real Madrid risk Mbappé in crucial City clash

Real Madrid have included Kylian Mbappé for their Champions League clash with Manchester City, despite ongoing fitness concerns surrounding the French star.

The French superstar missed training on Tuesday because of a broken finger and other discomfort. The forward was expected to be ruled out of the round 6 UEFA Champions League clash in Spain.

Spanish media have reported Madrid coach Xabi Alonso is set for the sack if his team lose against Pep Guardiola’s side.

Los Blancos have won just two of their last seven matches across all competitions.

Mbappe is the team’s top scorer this season with 25 goals in 21 games across all competitions. Erling Haaland, one of Europe’s in-form strikers will be going head to head with Mbappe at the Santiango Bernabeu this evening, with the Norwegian bagging 20 goals in 20 appearances this season.
