Paris Saint-Germain were crowned European champions for the second consecutive season after edging the Gooners on Penalties in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.
Kai Haverts opened the scoring with a sensational finish at the near post in the opening 10 minutes, going into the break 1-0 ahead at halftime.
An Ousmane Dembele penalty in the second half levelled the scores with Christian Mosquera fouling Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the box. Dembele sent Raya the wrong way and PSG equalized.
Arsenal held firm and had a great chance through Viktor Gyokeres late. But, the deadlock could not be broken, sending the final to penalties. ‘
Despite a sensational save from Raya, Gabriel blasted his effort over the bar in the decisive kick to give PSG the win 4-3 on penalties and their second UEFA Champions League title.
