Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Sávio from Premier League rivals Manchester City.
The 22-year-old moves to north London after two seasons at the Etihad Stadium. The deal is reportedly worth £75 million, with a further £10m potentially due in add-ons.

“It’s taken a while but I’m very happy to be here,” Sávio told the Tottenham website.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity at a brilliant club with one of the best managers in the world. As soon as I spoke to the head coach, I knew I had to come.”

Sávio joined City from Troyes in July 2024 after impressing during a loan spell at Girona. He made 84 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals, and helped them win the FA Cup and League Cup last season.
De Zerbi believes the Brazil international will provide creativity and attacking threat from wide positions.

“Sávio is a player who brings energy, imagination and quality,” the Spurs manager said. “He has the courage to attack defenders and the ability to change a game with his creativity.”
Sávio has earned 13 caps for Brazil and scored one international goal. He will wear the No 17 shirt at Tottenham.
