Partey arrived at Arsenal in a £45 million deadline-day move from Atletico Madrid in October 2020. During his four-year spell with the Gunners, the defensive midfielder has made 167 appearances across all competitions, finding the net nine times while establishing himself as a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s midfield.
The breakdown in negotiations signals the likely end of Partey’s Arsenal career, with the club now expected to explore midfield reinforcements in the upcoming transfer window.
Thomas Partey is set to leave Arsenal, a source has told ESPN.
