Trabzonspor reach verbal agreement with Manchester United to sign goalkeeper André Onana on loan.
Manchester United Andre Onana has reached an agreement to join Trabzonspor on a season-long loan deal.
The Athletic reports, the Turkish club will assume full responsibility for the goalkeeper’s Manchester United wages, and Onana is also set to receive significant performance-related bonuses.
According to sources close to the player, his total earnings at Trabzonspor are expected to nearly double.Onana is due to travel to Trabzon, Turkey, with a stop in Paris, after fulfilling his international commitments with Cameroon. The Cameroonian national team has a crucial World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde on Tuesday evening.
Andre Onana was supposed to help transform the way Manchester United play, a goalkeeper who excelled with the ball at his feet and who would enable them to move on after David de Gea’s departure.
