Manchester United are ready to offload Rasmus Højlund for around £30 million this summer, according to The Times, just two years after signing the Danish striker for £72 million.
Højlund, 22, is facing increased pressure to perform after a difficult period at Old Trafford. Despite showing flashes of promise, including a recent goal against Bournemouth in Chicago, the forward has struggled for consistency. United are now actively seeking a new striker, with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins both under consideration.

While United are open to offers for Højlund, the player is said to be determined to stay and prove himself under Ruben Amorim. He spoke to reporters last week, acknowledging his struggles and expressing confidence that he is better prepared for the upcoming campaign.
The club does not need to sell in order to buy, but are open to generating funds to facilitate further business before the window closes. If a suitable offer arrives, Højlund could be moved on, though he may stay and fight for his place if United fail to land another striker.
