Chelsea have dismissed Liam Rosenior just four months into his contract, bringing an early end to a deal that was set to run until 2032.
The decision follows a run of five consecutive league defeats without scoring, the club’s worst sequence since 1912. That form has left Chelsea seven points adrift of the Champions League places and under increasing pressure.

Rosenior had only taken charge in January after the departure of Enzo Maresca, arriving from sister club Strasbourg. His tenure, however, failed to stabilise results during a crucial stage of the season.

His exit continues a pattern under owner Todd Boehly, with Chelsea having now moved on from a series of high-profile managers in recent years. Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Mauricio Pochettino and Maresca have all left the club during this period.
It remains unclear who Chelsea will appoint next, with the club entering another key phase as they look to steady results and rebuild momentum.
