Arsenal Premier League champions after Man City draw

Arsenal are officially the 2025-26 Premier League winners after Manchester City failed to beat Bournemouth on Tuesday.

Arsenal are officially the 2025-26 Premier League winners after Manchester City failed to beat Bournemouth on Tuesday.

The Gunners will be four points clear going into the final matchday, meaning it is mathematically impossible for Pep Guardiola’s side following their 1-1 draw with the Cherries.

This is Arsenal’s first Premier League title in more than two decades after Mikel Arteta’s side finished as runners-up for three consecutive seasons.

A 1-0 win against already relegated Burnley on Monday night gave Arsenal a five-point cushion and will now lift the trophy on Sunday at Selhurst Park on the final day of the season.

Bournemouth extended their unbeaten streak to 17 matches in the league and are still in contention for UEFA Champions League football if Liverpool fail to beat Brentford at Anfield. Andoni Iraola’s side are guaranteed Europa League football at a minimum with a spot in the top seven secured.

With Pep Guardiola set to leave City after 10 years at the club, despite completing the domestic cup double, one of the Premier League’s all-time great managers will not be adding to his six league titles.
