Former Juventus and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with AS Monaco, marking his return to Ligue 1 as a free agent.
The 31-year-old French international has been without a club since receiving a four-year doping suspension in 2023, though his ban was recently reduced on appeal.
The move represents a fresh start for the 2018 World Cup winner, whose career has been stalled by injuries and off-field issues in recent years.
Monaco, who finished third in Ligue 1 last season, will hope Pogba can rediscover the form that once made him one of football’s most complete midfielders. The deal is expected to be finalized pending a medical examination.
This transfer marks Pogba’s first return to French football since leaving Le Havre’s youth academy in 2009.
