Ange Postecoglou has been shown the door at Tottenham, just 16 days after leading the club to their first trophy in 17 years, and now gives valuable life lessons.

A 1-0 Europa League victory over Manchester united wasn’t just any old win—it snapped a 41-year European trophy drought and booked Spurs’ spot in next season’s Champions League.

But despite the continental success, things at home were… not great. In fact, this was Tottenham’s worst domestic season since they got relegated back in 1976-77.

A club statement on X put it all very formally: “After reviewing performances and some serious reflection, we’ve decided to part ways with Ange Postecoglou.”

Two years to the day after he arrived from Celtic, chairman Daniel Levy pulled the plug on Ange’s chaotic but memorable time in North London. Chaotic in the sense Spurs lost 22 of their 38 Premier League games, limping to 17th place. The only teams below them? The relegated trio of Leicester, Ipswich, and Southampton.
