Legendary AC Milan and Italy defender Paolo Maldini has been fired as Milan’s Technical Director by American owner Gerry Cardinale.

This shocking decision is effective immediately after the owner and legend disagreed furiously over the future direction of the club.
AC Milan fans have not taken the news well, with Maldini synonymous with the side and even dubbed “Mr Milan”.
