Mamelodi Sundowns have been drawn in the same group as Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly side following the conclusion of the 2021/22 CAF Champions League draw conducted in Cairo on Tuesday afternoon.
The Brazilians and reigning champions Al Ahly have been drawn in Group A alongside the likes of Sudan outfits Al Hilal and Al Merriekh following the draw at the CAF headquarters.
Meanwhile, DStv Premiership outfit AmaZulu were drawn in Group B and Benni McCarthy’s side are accompanied by Raja (Morcco), Horoya (Guinea) and ES Setif (Algeria).
