Kane shatters records in historic Bayern campaign

Harry Kane has produced the finest season of his career, turning Bayern Munich’s 2025/26 season into a record-breaking run of goals and milestones.

The England captain finished the season with a staggering 61 goals in 51 matches in all competitions, capping it off with a hat trick in Bayern’s 3-0 German Cup final win over Stuttgart.

Kane also claimed the Bundesliga Golden Boot for a third straight season after scoring 36 league goals in just 31 appearances. That made him the first player ever to finish as Bundesliga top scorer in each of his first three seasons in Germany.

His numbers helped Bayern complete a domestic double while smashing attacking records along the way. Vincent Kompany’s side scored 122 Bundesliga goals, surpassing the previous modern era benchmark set by José Mourinho’s Real Madrid in 2011/12.

Individually, Kane reached several milestones:

• 100 Bayern goals faster than any player in a major European league era
• 500 senior career goals
• Most goals in Europe’s top five leagues this season

Despite narrowly missing Robert Lewandowski’s single season Bundesliga record of 41 goals, Kane’s consistency, leadership and ruthless finishing have pushed him firmly into the Ballon d’Or conversation.

With records tumbling and silverware secured, Kane’s extraordinary campaign has firmly cemented itself in Bayern folklore.
