Former Orlando Pirates and and Golden Arrows midfielder Menzi Masuku has made an unforeseen move to Al-Shabab in the Bahrain top flight league.
Masuku’s move comes after being part of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament with the national team earlier this year.
The 32 year old’s name has surfaced in Saudi Arabia. Masuku played for the Buccaneers’ reserve squad prior to making an impressive debut where he scored two goals.
Masuku also made debut for then Bloemfoentein Celtic, Royal AM, Golden Arrows with over 200 matches in the PSL, netting 19 goals with 21 assists. Al-Shaba Club currently sit 11th on the Bahraini Premier League table and now bolster their squad with the addition of SA international Masuku on a free transfer.
