Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi made a stunning double stop in his MLS debut for Chicago Fire, but it was not enough to prevent his side losing 2-1 to Houston Dynamo on Saturday night.

Defender Mbokazi was one of four players making their debuts for the Chicago side in their regular season opener at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston.

Hugo Cuypers scored for Chicago in the first half but Guillherme scored twice in the second half to give the home side the win.
