1. Peter Shalulile – 130+ goals
Shalulile broke Nomvethe’s long-standing record with his 130th goal in August 2025 and continues to add to that tally. The Namibian joined Sundowns in 2020 and has won the title every season since. The PSL’s greatest ever scorer.
2. Siyabonga Nomvethe – 129 goals
Nomvethe held the record for over a decade. The Bafana Bafana legend played for Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Moroka Swallows and AmaZulu and is widely regarded as the greatest South African striker of all time.

3. Bradley Grobler – 113 goals
A consistent and clinical finisher who spent the majority of his career at SuperSport United. One of the most reliable strikers the PSL has produced.
4. Daniel Mudau – 110 goals
Known as “Mambush”, Mudau spent his entire career at Sundowns and was the club’s all-time top scorer before Shalulile surpassed him. A one-club legend.
5. Mabhuti Khenyeza – 110 goals
Represented eight PSL clubs yet remained prolific wherever he went. Holds the record for the fastest goal in the Soweto derby – 19 seconds against Orlando Pirates.

6. Manuel Bucuane – 104 goals
The Mozambican known as “Tico-Tico” was the first non-South African to reach 100 PSL goals. A technically gifted forward and sporting icon in his home country.
7. Collins Mbesuma – 103 goals
Holds the record for the most goals in a single PSL season with 25 – a tally that has never been bettered. One of the most feared finishers of his generation.
8. Khama Billiat – 97 goals
One of the most naturally gifted players the PSL has seen. Creative, quick and clinical, Billiat won three league titles with Sundowns before moving to Chiefs.
9. Lehlohonolo Majoro – 91 goals
A powerful striker who scored for a remarkable range of clubs including Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu. Consistent across more than a decade of PSL football.

10. Wilfred Mugeyi – 91 goals
The Zimbabwean forward known as the “Silver Fox” was one of the most feared strikers of his generation and at his peak held the single-season scoring record before Mbesuma broke it.
