The side from the National First Division will be looking to make history by becoming the first team from the second division to win the Nedbank Cup.
Galaxy beat Ajax Cape Town, Umvoti, Jomo Cosmos, Cape Umoya United and then PSL team Golden Arrows in the semi-final to set up a David vs Goliath clash against Soweto giants Chiefs.

Malesela admitted that his side are focused on themselves heading into the clash and also added that his team have done a lot of mental prep ahead of their date with history.
