Cape Town City won their first away game this season in a slender 1-0 victory over Chippa United courtesy of Kayden Francis’ late goal.
Erik Tinkler’s side fought late to hold on to their 1-0 lead when Francis scored from the near-post in the 82nd minute.
That late goal gave the Citizens their first away win, climbing up to 10th spot in the Premiership standings.
Chippa United dropped points to remain fifth in the standings, suffering a fourth consecutive league loss.
