Amajita backed up their opening win over Lesotho with another clinical performance, beating Angola 2-0 at the ABB Stadium to climb to the summit of their COSAFA group.
Raymond Mdaka shuffled his starting XI for the occasion, bringing Cape Town City pair Cayden Fortune and Emile Witbooi into the side in place of Kamohelo Mareletse and Milimo Nalumango, who had featured in the tournament opener.

South Africa needed only 13 minutes to make their mark, with skipper Lazola Maku driving a Steven Mendes cross into the roof of the net from close range.
The lead was doubled shortly before the interval, Mendes this time turning provider into scorer as he climbed above the Angola defence to head in Witbooi’s free-kick, taking his personal tally for the tournament to three.
Little separated the two sides after the restart, with neither team able to fashion clear openings in a quiet second period. South Africa’s first-half work proved enough, though, as they saw out the win to move onto six points and overtake Angola at the top of Group B.
