Orlando Pirates welcome Durban City FC on Thursday evening for a crucial Betway Premiership fixture.
Both sides are playing catchup following their continental commitments, with the Buccaneers flying Mzansi’s flag in the CAF Champions League and Durban City in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The two clubs enjoyed a superb weekend on the continent. Pirates defeated Mauritian side La Cure Sylvester at home to seal their spot in the next round, while Durban City earned an incredible away victory against Burundian outfit Rukinzo to secure their progression.
Now attention shifts firmly back to the domestic scene with a massive league clash looming large.

The Buccaneers will be desperate to make up ground on log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who sit seven points ahead of them despite playing three games more than Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side.
Standing in their way however is an in-form Khalil Ben Youssef side that remains unbeaten in their last six matches.
Action at Orlando Stadium is scheduled to get underway at 19:30, with the match being televised live on SuperSport PSL.
It may still be early in the season, but fixtures are coming thick and fast for both sides, and a dip in form right now could prove costly.
The turnaround between matches is actually staggering! After Thursday’s fixture, both teams are back on the pitch again on Sunday.
