Lyle Foster has joined Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo on loan from Burnley until the end of June 2027, with an option to make the transfer permanent.
The Bafana Bafana striker leaves Turf Moor after making 89 league appearances and scoring 11 goals across the Premier League and Championship. He spent four seasons after arriving from Westerlo in January 2023.

Foster helped Burnley earn promotion to the Premier League twice. They won the 2022-23 Championship before finishing second in the 2024-25 campaign.
He recorded three goals and two assists in 26 Premier League appearances last season. The forward scored against Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, while also netting a 95th-minute winner away to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Houston president of soccer Pat Onstad said Foster would bring power, movement, link-up play and defensive intensity to the team’s attack. Dynamo were second in the Western Conference with 39 points from 22 matches when the move was announced.
