Mamelodi Sundowns return to Betway Premiership action this evening when they host Marumo Gallants at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
The Brazilians will be looking to bounce back from their frustrating 1-1 draw against Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend. Standing in their way tonight however are desperate Gallants side.
In their last outing, Gallants were beaten 3-1 by Stellenbosch, extending a difficult run that leaves them winless in 12 consecutive Betway Premiership matches.
Their last victory in the league dates back to 4 March 2026, when they defeated Chippa United. Since then, they have recorded four defeats and eight draws.

As far as previous meetings are concerned, Gallants will be buoyed by the fact that they managed to beat Sundowns in last season’s Carling Knockout Cup. Their first-round penalty shootout victory was arguably the upset of the tournament!
