Relebohile Mofokeng – Union Saint-Gilloise (Belgium)
Mofokeng became one of the Betway Premiership’s most exciting young talents at Orlando Pirates before this summer’s move to Belgium. He’s made an instant impact, scoring the winning penalty in the Belgian Super Cup on his debut and following it with a league goal.
Olwethu Makhanya – Rangers (Scotland)
Makhanya moved from Stellenbosch to Philadelphia Union in 2023, before this switch to Scottish football. He becomes the third Bafana Bafana international to join Rangers, following Bongani Zungu and Dean Furman, in a deal including a sell-on clause.

Fagrie Lakay – Al Ahli Tripoli (Libya)
Lakay spent three years at Egyptian side Pyramids before making his Ceramica Cleopatra move permanent last year. He now heads to Libyan football, reuniting with former Pyramids teammate Fiston Mayele at Al Ahli Tripoli.
Tshegofatso Mabasa – Maghreb Fès (Morocco)
Mabasa scored 50 goals across two spells at Orlando Pirates, eight behind the club’s all-time record. His contract expired this summer, and after a loan at Stellenbosch, he’s signed a free transfer to Moroccan champions Maghreb Fès.
Sipho Mbule – Zakho SC (Iraq)
Mbule was among five players released by Orlando Pirates this summer after helping the club win a domestic treble. He’s now bound for Iraq, joining Zakho SC ahead of the 2026-27 Iraqi Stars League season.

Devin Titus – Maghreb Fès (Morocco)
Titus leaves Stellenbosch as the club’s most-capped outfield player ever, with 176 appearances and 36 goals. He joins compatriot Mabasa at Maghreb Fès after the Moroccan champions triggered his buy-out clause.
Keletso Makgalwa – Simba SC (Tanzania)
Makgalwa joined Sekhukhune United from Upington City in 2024 and has become one of South Africa’s most valuable exports on the continent. He now moves to Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
Thapelo Maseko – FC Copenhagen (Denmark)
Maseko struggled for game time at Mamelodi Sundowns before a loan revival at AEL Limassol. He scored South Africa’s winner over South Korea at this year’s World Cup, and now joins Copenhagen on a three-year deal.

Thato Sibiya – LOSC Lille (France)
Sibiya was promoted to Sundowns’ first team in January 2026 after starring for South Africa’s U20 AFCON winners, making four senior appearances. He now heads to Ligue 1 side Lille to continue his development.
