Kaizer Chiefs welcome rivals Mamelodi Sundowns to the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon for a crunch Betway Premiership encounter.
The Glamour Boys are looking to make it three wins from as many matches, while Sundowns also head into the match with a 100% record after winning their opening fixtures.
Both sides have plenty on the line. Chiefs are eager to prove they are finally ready to mount a serious title challenge after recent struggles, while Sundowns are determined to set the record straight after losing out to Pirates last season.

While Kaizer Chiefs haven’t beaten Mamelodi Sundowns in the league in over five years, the Glamour Boys can at least take comfort in Miguel Cardoso’s record against them.
Out of four past matches against Chiefs, Cardoso has only won once, drawing twice. That record includes Chiefs’ memorable Nedbank Cup semi-final victory over Masandawana in 2025.
