The New Zealand squad will use Athlone as its training base before facing the Stormers at DHL Stadium in the opening match of the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry tour next Friday.
The arrangement means Stellenbosch’s opening Betway Premiership fixture against AmaZulu on Saturday has been moved to Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban.

Hunt believes the disruption leaves Stellies facing seven consecutive matches away from their normal home venue.
“The frustrating part is the stadiums, not having a stadium to play in, so it puts pressure on the team having to play away for probably the next two months,” Hunt was also quoted by IOL.

“Facilities are a big problem,” Hunt said to News24.
“We basically now have seven away games in a row because we even have to play our home games on the road.
“Something has got to be done. I mean, how can the All Blacks train at Athlone?! Anyway…”
