Fulham are set to open talks with Real Madrid over a move for striker Gonzalo Garcia, with any deal likely to hinge on the structure of the agreement and final approval from Jose Mourinho.
Madrid are keen to retain a level of control over the 22 year old’s future, meaning any transfer would probably include conditions rather than a straightforward permanent sale.

Garcia broke into Real Madrid’s first team last season, scoring a hat trick against Real Betis and finding the net at the Club World Cup, before adding six league goals across the 2025-26 campaign.
Real Madrid rejected an earlier approach from Aston Villa for the striker in January, and he remains contracted at the club until 2030 following a recent extension.
