Kyle Field’s capacity of 102,733 makes it one of the largest stadiums in the United States – and over 91,000 of those seats were filled for an international football friendly.
The figure dwarfs most Champions League and Premier League attendances and underlines the extraordinary commercial and cultural power Messi brings to any event he participates in.
At 38 years old and heading into what is widely expected to be his final World Cup, the appetite to see Messi in the flesh has never been greater. Argentina open their 2026 World Cup campaign against Algeria in Kansas City on 16 June.
