Mohammed Salah capped off his Liverpool career by helping the Reds book their place in the UEFA Champions League with a wonderful setup in Liverpool’s draw with Brentford.
A trademark run in space out wide saw Salah storm into Brentford’s box before whipping an outside the foot pass into the path of Curtis Jones who guided the ball past former Liverpool keeper Caoimhin Kelleher to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead.

It was not the decisive moment Salah would have wanted in his final match after nearly a decade at Anfield, with Brentford striker Kevin Schade heading past Alisson to equalize soon after.
Bournemouth’s draw at Forest was enough for Arne Slot’s side to secure their place in Europe’s premier competition next season, ending off an underwhelming title defence with 60 points.
