There have been great front threes in European football before. Very few have produced what Bayern Munich’s trio of Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz have delivered in 2025-26.
Across all competitions, the three have combined for over 100 goals – the most by any attacking trio in Europe this season and the most prolific in Bayern’s history, surpassing the legendary trifecta of Gerd Muller, Uli Hoeness and Willi Hoffmann who combined for 99 in 1972-73.
Only Messi, Suarez and Neymar’s 131 goals in Barcelona’s 2015-16 season stands ahead of them in the all-time record books.

Harry Kane
The standout performer in a season of extraordinary output. Kane won the Bundesliga’s Torjägerkanone for the third consecutive year – the first player in the competition’s history to achieve that feat – finishing with 36 league goals in 34 appearances.
Across all competitions he scored 58 goals,surpassing Robert Lewandowski’s record for the most by any player in Europe’s top five leagues in a single season. He also became the highest-scoring Englishman in Champions League history, netting 22 times this season. In February he reached 500 career goals for club and country.

Michael Olise
Named Bundesliga Player of the Season, Olise produced numbers the German top flight has rarely seen. His 15 goals and 19 assists in the Bundesliga made him the first player since Jadon Sancho in 2019-20 to record at least 15 of each in a single campaign.
In the Champions League he added 4 goals and 7 assists. His 19 assists across all competitions is a Bundesliga record for a single season.

Luis Diaz
The Colombian winger arrived from Liverpool and immediately became one of Europe’s most productive wide players. He scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists in the Bundesliga – the first Bayern player since 2004-05 to reach those figures in a single league season. Across all competitions he contributed 24 goals and 17 assists in 43 appearances.

The season
Bayern won the Bundesliga with a record 109 goals – breaking their own previous record of 101 set in 1971-72 – and lost just once in 34 league games. They also won the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup and reached the Champions League semi-finals before losing to PSG 4-5 on aggregate.
The DFB-Pokal final against Stuttgart takes place on May 23 – and Kane, Olise and Diaz will have one more chance to add to their historic tally.
