Goals from Sanad Al Warfali, Muad Eisay and Omar Al Khouja were enough to cancel out Bandile Shandu’s brace as Al-Ittihad walked away with all three points at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Benina.
Despite the defeat, Pirates find themselves at the top of the Group B standings, level on three points with second-placed Al-Ittihad Tripli and JS Saoura, in third, after two games played in the group thus far.
