Group A’s focus shifts to the race for second place. Pyramids are already through, while RS Berkane and Power Dynamos remain level on seven points. A win for Berkane would seal qualification, but goal difference could yet decide matters.

In Group B, Al Ahly require just a point at home to confirm top spot, while AS FAR and Young Africans still harbour qualification hopes.

Group D offers a direct contest between Esperance and Petro de Luanda for the final qualifying place, with Stade Malien already safely through.
