The fixture against Zambia, scheduled for Saturday November 15th will take place in Gqeberha with kick-off set for 15:00. The match-up serves as part of Bafana’s build-up to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco next month.
Speaking on his squad selection, including the players who missed selection, Broos reiterated the aim of assessing new players while those who played a role in the World cup qualification will be giving much needed rest.
“There are a few new boys, and a few others are not there because I know those players,” Broos said. “I took this opportunity in this game against Zambia to call some new players, to see them in training, to assess their mentality, and to determine if we can count on them in the future.”
