Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has expressed his sympathy for Ange Postecoglou, who was dismissed from his role as Nottingham Forest manager shortly after their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea over the weekend.

Postecoglou’s departure came immediately after Forest’s loss at Stamford Bridge, ending his tenure with the club in abrupt fashion. The result saw Chelsea continue a solid run under Maresca, while Forest now begin their search for a new head coach as they look to stabilise their season.
