The 24-year-old, who scored on his debut in June, returns as Hugo Broos’s side aim to secure automatic qualification with a decisive Group C victory in Mbombela.

The 24-year-old returns to the national team setup for the first time since 10 June 2025, and has sinced earned six senior international caps to date and featured at the 2024 COSAFA Cup held in Gqeberha.

Cupido’s inclusion comes as Bafana Bafana occupy second place in Group C. Bafana face a must-win match against Rwanda to secure automatic qualification for the 2026 tournament.
