Manchester City remain unbeaten after edging Brentford 1-0 and host Everton at 1.42. The Toffees, lifted by a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, are 7.60 outsiders. City are looking to tighten their grip near the top after a slow start to the campaign.

Tottenham, who beat Leeds 2-1 last week, face Aston Villa at home. Spurs are 2.14 favourites, while Villa sit at 3.30. A win could move Spurs ahead of Arsenal depending on results at Craven Cottage.

Liverpool and Manchester United headline the weekend at Anfield. Liverpool, coming off a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, are 1.61 favourites. United, buoyed by their 2-0 win over Sunderland, are 5.00, with a draw at 4.50. The fixture could prove decisive for both sides’ pursuit of consistency.

Chelsea, priced at 1.97, visit Nottingham Forest following their win over Liverpool, while Newcastle (2.75) travel to Brighton in one of the weekend’s tighter contests. Crystal Palace (2.23) host fourth-placed Bournemouth, who impressed in a 3-1 win over Fulham. West Ham (2.42) face Brentford (2.90) as both aim to rebound from defeat.

Sunderland (2.45) meet Wolves (3.15) with the visitors desperate for a result following a disastrous start to the season.
