Real Madrid welcome Olympique Marseille in a highly anticipated UEFA Champions League clash, with both sides entering the contest on the back of contrasting domestic and continental form.
Real Madrid
Real Madrid have won their last five matches in La Liga and friendlies. Their recent results include a 2-1 win over Real Sociedad, 2-1 against Mallorca, 3-0 against Real Oviedo and 1-0 against Osasuna.
They have conceded two goals in their last four competitive matches. In July, they lost 4-0 to PSG in the Club World Cup but have since won four in a row, scoring at least twice in each match.

Marseille have mixed results in Ligue 1 this season. They beat Lorient 4-0, but lost 1-0 to Lyon and 1-0 to Rennes away from home.
At home, they scored five goals against Paris FC and three against Aston Villa in friendlies. Both of their league defeats this season have come away from home.
