Lamine Yamal crowned La Liga’s Best U23 Player

La Liga has officially named Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal as the Best Under-23 Player of the 2024/25 season.

Yamal had a breakout campaign, making 35 league appearances for Barça, scoring 9 goals and providing a league-high 13 assists. His contributions were pivotal in securing Barcelona’s La Liga title, as they finished with 88 points.

Yamal’s stellar form earned him two U23 Player of the Month awards (August and February) and the overall La Liga Player of the Month honor in September.
